08:35 Newcastle Jets -Sydney FC 2 (1,85)

Newcastle Jets host Sydney FC in round 4 of the A league.  Newcastle Jets are 4`th on the table with 7 points while Sydney is the leader with 9 points. It has been a better start of the league for both teams then last season when neither reached the play-off. Newcastle did terribly on the offense last season averaging 1 goal scored per game but now they have much more attacking threat. With 7 goals scored in 3 matches things look much better. Especially at home where they took a point from Adelaide while have beaten Brisbane heavily with 4:0. They beat Brisbane but looking at the stats the game was very even while the visitors also had the majority of the possesion.

Sydney on the other hand look the best with 3 wins and 9:0 goal difference. They beat WS Wandererd with 0:4 away from home, 4:0 CCM at home and Wellington 0:1 away from home. Against Wellington they had to dig deap in the added time to get the win but they showed to have what it takes to get it. Sydney has some good players like the Turkish connection Holosko and Bobo which scored 5 goals together. Captain Brosque also retured from his long injury break to add the needed bite. No doubt they look like the title contender.

Newcastle doesn`t have fond memories of Sydney as they lost even 8 of the last 9 matches.

Newcastle will have added problems for this clash as important defender Jackson(3-0) is out but also their best player so far Nabbout(att.3-0).

Sydney has all available.

It may be tougher then before but Sydney can take another win here.
